Grooms Cake

Are you having one?
There is a cake provided at the RD should I just customize this one or get a separate cake. There will only be 30-40 ppl at the RD.

if i do it im having it at the wedding

but you said that they are providing a cake at the RD, who is making that cake...many places will just do regular cakes and they dont work with fondant or make shapes the way you would see for a grooms cake. So first ask them if they are even able to do this.

FH doesn't want a grooms cake, but he is getting one anyway! I want to incorporate a theme into his wedding gift. The cake will be the first hint.
I am assuming that the cakes are made on or near the premises, but I will have to ask this question without FH finding out!

yeah ask what bakery does this and go there to tell them what you want...well more importantly to see if they do this

I was going to have LuLu's design the cake, they did my nephew's cake for his birthday and it was amazing! No one wanted to eat it! Does it matter if I have 2 cakes for 30-40 ppl?
