Grooms cake

I contacted a baker to get a price for this Grooms cake Richsbride posted. Is $140 reasonable?

Damn thats a lot! (I don't know ANYTHING about the prices though) I just wish it were cheaper.

Who did you contact/ I want to get one too and I know your in Nassau.

I actually used the baker of the caterer for our RD - Reinhold (or Reingold) in Huntington

I'm not goint to have one, but I think that price is cheaper than the going rate. I got quotes of $3 - $10/slice, which would be btwn $300 and $1,000 for a 100 person wedding. So, $140 is less than those.

This is for the RD, not the wedding, but you have a point with the per slice thing...

I was looking for the RD also. I thought of getting a Yankee stadium cake. I got prices from Justincakesny.com

I was looking and I was getting prices about the same even more expensive. So I dont really thnk that is so bad. Is a beautiful cake.

I wanted to do a cake (fire truck) for my fiance for the rehearsal dinner....if anyone can post some phone numbers that would be great... i was hoping less then $140..but that cake is amazing!
