Groom's cake

I am eager to get a groom's cake for my FH. I heard that some people give pieces out as favors which I thought might be really cute but all the groom's cakes I know of only feed about 30-50 people. Any ideas??? Also, does anyone know any good places to go to have a groom's cake made?? Thanks, ladies!!!

6 months to go!!

Dortoni in Levittown or Audrey's in Suffolk county.

I am using Dortoni and they are making the cake in the form of a Guiness Bottle. FH's favorite Beer.

I've heard of people giving out slices as favors but I'm thinking there probably too small for that, right?

maybe a tiny sliver but you will have your actual wedding cake no? you could order a exra layer or 2 to slice up as favors or if your eally set on the grooms cake as favors you would need a prety big cake

Re: Groom's cake

we had an xbox 360 made for DH and it only fed about 50. we cut one slice at the reception and i thought they were gonna cut the rest for the guests but the RH packed it up for us to take home. DH loved that because he didnt really want to share his cake lol, we ate a bunch then gave some to our parents and his brother.
