I know that typically this is supposed to be done at the rehearsal dinner. Would it be bad if I gave it to him at the wedding? The cake is going to be very detailed. He is a handball player so it is going to have a wall, grass, parking on the side, the works. I want all of his handball friends to see it! But, the won't be at the rehearsal dinner. What do you guys think?

I think it's fine to have it at the wedding for everyone to see. A lot of people do it that way and it's your day so you can do whatever you want!

Of course you can have it at the wedding! There's no set in stone rule about having it one way or the other, do whatever you want.

I'm having mine at the wedding instead of the rehearsal dinner! The cake I'm getting is also detailed, so I want my photographer to get pictures of it!
