I'm thinking of getting a grooms cake to surprise FH. The baker has hasked how many ppl I plan to feed with it. Any suggestions - is it supposed to be big enough for everyone to have a piece??

my friend made my cake and the RH sliced a little piece for everyone, not every one ate the cake since we also had wedding cake, cookies and a chocolate fountain

Traditionally, it is supposed to be an alternative. so not enough to feed everyone.

i would say have it made to serve half the number of people you are having. then just tell your RH to cut smaller slices so everyone can get a taste
