i thought i knew which cake i wanted to get for FH but i really have no idea. here are some pictures of the options i came up with.
one is obviously a glass bottle coke. (FH is obsessed with coca cola, especially in a glass bottle)
the guy with the black spiky hair & orange jump suit is Goku, he is a character from dragon ball z. (when i asked FH who his favorite cartoon character of all time was, this is who he picked)
lastly is Utzo, this is FHs World of Warcraft character. he is dressed & has weapons that FH choose for him in the game & FH spent a lot of time getting his character to be as 'cool' as he thinks he is.
in my opinion these are the top three things that i would choose to present as a cake to him. the problem is i am so torn as to which he would like the best. please vote & offer your opinions to help me out.
ummmm.........i think the coke bottle could really be cute!!!

I am sure he would love any of those- you may want to ask your baker how much it would cost for each one... (if pricing is a concern)

i would go with the coke bottle. the other two, like someone else said, are very detailed and could end up looking very different than what it shoudl be and my be alot of money.

ok im a cake person (starting my own business when im not broke) so here is my honest opinion...
The WoW guy is awesome BUT you will NEVER get all that detail unless you pay a ton OR you are willing to let a few things go.
You could always have a flat sheet cake with the character on it, but to me that defeats the purpose
How about, a coke bottle with on the opposite side of the label (where the nutrition facts would be if it was food) you out a picture of the character? It could be like those special edition bottles. It would be fairly easy to have an edible image put onto a 3D bottle cake
I can give more opinions if you want, but thats all they are, MY Opinions and you can do with them as you want

I like the idea of one of the characters holding a glass coke bottle. I also agree with what some others have said though, that making something that complex and complicated may be very pricey and may not come out the way you want it to. What about doing the coke bottle but making the label say something about you, FH, or you both to customize it?
