How much should you spend on the gift for your future husband??? Any ideas of what any one s giving??

I gave Joe cuff links from things remembered with our wedding date engraved on them, and a bottle of wine

Sure...everybody is different, and we did not have a ton of left over momey so we just did something simple, but it's totally up to you. I would just make sure you guys are on the same page........if you bought him a LCD tv and he got you a dozen roses it might make you or him feel bad. I would set a budget. Joe and I set up a $100 budget and that owrked for us so neither of us was to extravagent or to 'cheap'

That is so true! It would suck if i got roses and he got a tv. But hey at that point it would be like a big gift for me as well haha

We aren't doing gifts because of how much we are paying for the wedding - but as an idea, you could each pick something special to do on the honeymoon and consider that a gift - i.e. activity or expensive dinner, etc.

I'm thinking about getting him a watch and maybe having it engraved on the back..not sure yet though but just an idea

I got Brian a gorgeous Movado watch to wear on our wedding day.

I got DH Tiffany cuff links engraved with his initials. I remember them being not too expensive expensive.

im getting FH a breitling bentley watch to wear for the first time the day of the wedding.....its an expensive gift BUT he is paying for the majority of the wedding and its still not as much as he spent on me for my engagement ring (and everything else he does for me!).....so even though its an expensive gift for us its reasonable....he deserves it and no matter what i have to do i made up my mind he is getting that watch!! he LOVES this particular watch and it was supposed to be an engagement gift but he proposed so much sooner than i expected so i was not prepared to get it for him.....so i told him for the wedding!! i am giving him my boudoir album as a surprise gift in the meantime!

I got FH the Nintendo Wii (sp?)! He thinks I'm getting him a dog, but I can't do that until we get a house. I may also get him cuff links or a bracelet. He wears this ratty dark red Live Strong type bracelet now that I hate. He has no clue about anything!!

i just bought my FH a plasma TV on black Friday. Hes not getting it until July though so its just sitting in my basement. Shhhh dont tell him, I think hes going to be mad...

I am going to get FH the Bose 3-2-1 sound system...he drools over it everytime we go into Best Buy...i just hope he doesn't plan on getting it before the wedding.

I don't think we are dong the gifts since the cost of the wedding, we'll probably put the money towards the honeymoon, or an extra for the wedding.

I'd like to get FH something but he hates to where a watch or any jewelry. I guess cufflinks but I wish I could get something a little more extravagant, seeing he splurged on the ring!

I got FH a HUGE plasma at Best Buy on Black Friday...he has NO IDEA and is going to be so so surprised! I am working on also getting him the breitling watch he's been wanting for the last 2 years...I got a nice ring...so he deserves it!!!
