So I am giving FH the bpics as a gift but i really wanted to give him something else also. I know he loves watches so when i went to zales today to get my ring cleaned i saw this watch and new he would love it. I think this would look so nice with his tux. He has so many watches but nothing like this.
That watch is sooo nice and it would look great with his tux at the wedding!

I thought the same thing about the black. I thought it made the watch very elegant looking. He has watches with all types of bands....leather, silver, gold....but nothing like this. I want to wear it in my bpics also then suprise him and give him that also. He is going to flip out.

Just as a note, one is not supposed to wear a watch with a tux, with the exception of a pocket watch that is kept in the waistcoat pocket.

Thank you for your advice, much appreciated. FH would want to wear a watch anyway. He never goes anywere without one no matter the occasion.

No prob!
In that case, the general rule of thumb is that a leather band is dressier than a bracelet, and the thinner the watch the dressier.
That said, I really like the watch you picked, and even I wouldn't pick a watch solely based on having it go with a tuxedo!
