what do you want to know?

only time i go is when there is a party or when i get married. DW didn't like it to much but knows i'm coming home to her.

think of it this way, he dated you and is gonna marry you...why would he do something dumb now?

is it a trust problem?

Re: Grooms-Tell me your thoughts on strip clubs...

I came in here to post about getting my groom a gift... unfortunately i saw this post & HAVE to comment so sorry ;) I've posted so much about this STUPID topic..... my opinion is it bothers some, others don't care....Luckily my future hubby isnt into the whole dirty stripper thing so i dont really have to deal with the issue. but honestly now - if you've shared your feelings with him on the subject, and he KNOWS its going to bother you or hurt you if he does this....THEN SHOULD RESPECT YOUR FEELINGS. 'If he's coming home to you anyway'(like most say) then why is there even a need for him to go sit and watch a bunch of naked girls & maybe get grinding lap dances all night???? It has nothing to do with trust.... it has to do with the fact that there is no NEED for it, and it is going to hurt the one person he supposably cares about most. If he really knows your feelings i think it would be entirely selfish of him to just go & not care. It's unnessecary.

LOL This may help u...i saw this post a while back :)

Dear Lord,
As you know my FH is about to attend his 'last night of freedom' one last night out with 'the boys' before he's ALL mine and I have him painting the ceiling on Saturday nights and going for walks on Sunday mornings. Yes, his bachelor party is upon us.

I am not asking for you to grant me peace of mind or to keep him safe. I am not asking that the cab driver refuse to drop them off at a 'gentlemen's club.' I am not asking for the bars to run out of beer and liquor by 6 pm. I am not asking you to have him change his mind and request a nice night out with me instead. I am however asking for a miracle....

Please Lord, let all the strippers in the tri-state area come down with the flu, the measles or the chicken pox on the date of his party so that he has no other choice but to watch 12 hours of ESPN with the boys or play Madden '06 on XBOX, if you could also arrange for ESPN to play only good highlights of the JETS so that he doesn't become saddened on his happy night out with friends that'd be great as well.

Thank you. Amen.

I agree with the '...if he really knows your feelings' bit, but the the strip club is in fact an integral part of the male bonding experience. in all seriousness: in addition to the senseless oggling and mass consumption, alot goes on there (psychologically) between guys. My FW is seemingly ok with it, and I go on occasion (for special events, going away partys, bachelor parties and the like).

Aside from military combat and organized sports, the strip club is one of the only places to develop an intrinsic level of trust and understanding between males (sad, but true).

Bottom line: if your SO is not ok with it, then it shouldn't be ok for you.

Bottom line: for the gals piece of mind >>> nothing happens at the strip club. nothing. like chris rock says, there is in fact 'no sex in the champagne room'

i do understand where some of u guys are coming from because different guys have all kinds of different takes on the subject. But the bottom line is, if he knows it's going to hurt you, who is supposed to be the one person he cares about most...then he shouldnt even want to go.

however now i'm going to shut up because the subject of this post is

'GROOMS - tell my your thoughts'

not brides! lol

listen I think you guys need to except the way things are. That they love you and if they are going to cheat on you they are going to do it at anyway. The strip club will not make them cheat. I think it has to do with your self esteem about how you look and that he might like them better. But hello he is marrying you and you have to have enough faith in him and your relationship that he will do the right thing, because he is not always going to be with you and if hes going to cheat hes going to cheat. So don't worry so much. Because he loves you and you love him and that is all that matters.

it has nothing to do with cheating at all. it has to do with the fact that if your hurting the love of your life by staring at another girls nana all night, then you shouldnt be doing it!!!!!!!

Yeah I know that you all way have to repect your wife are your future huddy .Without out repect in the relationship basically you have just to people seating on a couch watching TV,eating dinner and just doing the something over again .But with repect you way know how the other person is feeling are wants in you.You have to treat the person you are with the same way that you want to be treated.Thats way I am going talk to my :bride and talk about want she wants me too do and I will have to talk to the best man( My older brother) about parities at Strip club.If It was up to me I want like to maybe goto one are just have a couple of friends over are at Pub and just drink the night .But all would happen a couple of must before the wedding for course.
