I've noticed a couple of grooms posting & I think that's cool. I always wondered why its Brides Helping Brides, there is alot of good research on here that can be valuable to both sides. Its not always us brides who do the planning.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi, and that if there are any of you lurking you should say & introduce yourself.

In our case she does the leg work. Hehehehe. Yes it's true most FH don't post. I was the one who made the acct. and I check and post. Feel free to do a search and check out my proposal , honeymoon, and vendor posts.

lol..this is funny.. I was thinking of starting a thread but i duh know..just seemed like it was all ladies in here
Will, I (FH) is doing all the posting but if i see somthing intresting, i'll show (FW) or send a link. She has alot on her plate and what not and i have more time to look at websites and etc...
I can't imagine how our wedding planning would go without this site.
More guys should post..everybody is learning!

my FH used to post but he's not allowed to anymore..... please don't take that to mean he's less involved in the planning.....he does quite a bit......but he's not allowed to post on here......

I think it's great that grooms are posting... I'm worried that my FH will start, and because of that I'm afraid to post pics of my dress! LOL Also, I'm trying to surprise him with a grooms cake and I'd hate for him to come on here and find out!

Actually I can thank my FH for introducing me to the site .. he found it and told me to register (its the best thing I ever did)
He doesn't post, but I know he comes on here to look things up from time to time .. he's very involved, which is great! But I ALSO told him that once I start posting dress pics, etc that LIW is OFF LIMITS to him!

The same here!! He was searching for info on weddings at Danford's and LIW came up!! As a matter of fact I just recently sent thank you FM to that poster!!!! She now has a baby!!!

I know different guys have different reactions to planning a Wedding and doing all the stuff involved in it. Frankly, I was brought up kinda old-fashioned.. and I always felt that a Wedding is one of the BIGGEST days in your life.. so why wouldn't I want to have a lot of involvement in it.
We kinda divided the jobs for the wedding. She's doing her part. She's deciding on florists, centerpeices, invitesand a lot of other stuff too.. and I'm doing my job.. I'm working on the videographer, officiant,ceremony music along with a couple of other things.. and then of course, there's the stuff we handle together.. menu, music for reception, etc. Of course.. we both know what the other is doing and is subject to joint approval. But it makes it easier and exciting to work with her like this. After all.. I plan to be doing this kind of stuff with her for the rest of my life.
And I ask for help on here when I need to and if I can offer any help, I'm happy to.

I just want to say kudos to all the guys...you are so cute! My FH has helped with everything...he has gone to every appointment...but he hates LIW...I think because I spend too much time here...LOL.

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!! I wish FH would post on here also but sometimes I need to vent (sometimes about his family) so I wouldn't want him reading anything bad. He does sometimes read the posts with me and even tells me what to write sometimes but then he says I'm obsessed with this site He's such a weirdo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, there are more of you than I thought. My FH helps with the planning, but in general I amnoline more & he prefers to remain anonomous.
