Groomsman question may be silly?

If my brother and my brother in law are going to be groomsmen do I ask them or FH?

my brother lives in florida now so not sure when we are going to see him next. My brother in law we may see for Easter. That is a nice idea to ask them together. thx!

i asked my nephews. FH asked his friends. FH is being a jacka$$ and not acknowledging that my nephews are really in it b/c they are 'too young'. Whatever.

it's nice if you both do it but also fine if it just comes from you.

i think you should ask you fh if he cares that they are his gm and if he ok with it them you should ask him, if he wants to ask them or if he wants you to ask.

but i think the fh should ask, bc there his gm

I think FH should ask. My FH and my brother aren't particularly close b/c he lives far away and they haven't had the chance to spend much time together, but it's important to me that they do, and that he's a GM. FH called him to ask and said they had a nice conversation, and they both said to me separately that hopefully it will enable them to build their relationship.....so I think it's a nice opening to that if FH does it!

Also, I asked FH's sister (FSIL) to be a BM....same thing basically!

i already asked him and the boys. he has 4 groomsmen and I have only one MOH; I told him from the start i wanted all my nieces and nephews in it. it's fine, he doesn't want them up there on his side though, so they are standing on my side, and escorting my mom/aunts down the aisle. He is just being silly - he wants to be with his four friends - he won't even pick a best man; he says all of them are. that's fine with me but then I get to have the kids!

I think your FH should do it, but if your FH is anything like mine, it may take a bit of nagging.

My FH still hasn't officially asked any of his guys. He claims guys just don't do those things.

My FH asked my brother & brother-in-law!! I think either is fine, it depends on yours & their relationships!!

I def think that FH should be the one asking..If your there it might help, but I think the words should be coming out of his mouth!..

FH asked my brother and all his GM's himself.

Thanks ladies I think I will have FH ask or at least one of them. It would be nice coming from him and could be a good way to chat and bond.

TTW910 your FH sounds a little like mine. I have 6 BM, 1 jr BM and two FG's and he hasn't asked anyone. He seems to want to ask in person which is nice. I personally couldn't wait and a few I was able to ask in person.

Thanks everyone!
