Is anyone getting one for there FH? Does he knows? Does anyone know how much they range? How large are you suppose to get them (i.e> enough to feed the all the guest or not)
I want to get my FH his first car which is an muscle car 89 TransAM. He totally in love with cars and I know he probably going to think I will do something METS related since he a huge fan but my Dad being the huggest yankee fan and he paying for the hall- he will get a transam ha
Also, any good vendor for this? quotes?

I think i am. one of the groomsmans dad owns a bakery so I wanted to suprise him with one. I actually was going to do a mustang.. he has one and is craazzzzy about them

Super cute idea if he is into cake. The cake will probably be a couple of hundred dollars. It's going to be the same range as the wedding cake a per slice fee. and since it is for a wedding they will probably jack up the prices.

I will probably do one too - my friend did one for her wedding and it wasn't enough to feed everyone, i guess b/c she also had her wedding cake.
Her DH had no idea - it was super cute too - he's in the FDNY and it was his helmut w/ his company numbers on it.
As for the bakery - maybe ask your RH to see if they have any reccos. I know some RH back their cakes on site but some have bakery vendors (like mine) that you can tap into, so I wouls start there.

While I LOVE awesome cakes, FH is boring when it comes to dessert - he never wants any cause he always over-eats. He's not really into cakes and sweets, so I figure it wouldn't make a lot of sense for him. Buuuuut, the original groom's cake tradition cracks me up!!! link

I am getting an Xbox one for FH and it's going to be a surprise (see album for pic).
I got a price from one person for $275 and another for $400 - I'm still gonna shop around for prices but ultimately my decision is going to be based on taste. It's not going to be very big because we are going to have our wedding cake as well. I am going to get the groom's cake in FH's favorite flavor since it's a gift to him.

Yea - absolutely, i think so!!! The way I think about it - why have 2 cakes that can feed everyone?? And like Jessie said, it's really a gift to FH - not like he will eat the whole thing LOL but I wouldn't get one that could feed all your guests. I would get one small enough to make the design you want and not break your budget.

Thanks- and I am too getting FH his favorite flavor- Red Velvet- one of my BM Bf mother (LOL) owns /works a/for bakery and does these kind of cakes ( i just found out) so I am going to ask her- if she good do you want her name and information?

Well, a groomsbrownie...... FH LOVESSSS brownies so I'm going to get him a gigantic brownie as his groomscake!
My BIL had the BEST groomscake! He loves horror movies, especially Jason. So my sister got this cake made for him!!

I was thinking about doing one also. i wanted to do a batman joker themed cake. My garter I brought is batman too and I am going to play the batman theme when he goes to take the garter off.

I am considering it. It will be the last thing i pay for so i will only get it money permitting. If i do it will either be a football with the JETS logo or an XBOX....his 2 favorite things in the world. I dont plan on getting it to feed everyone. He really loves red velvet but our RH gives us a cake and red velvet is an upgrade which i dont want to pay for so his cake will be red velvet
