groomsmen gifts??

please help my wedding is in 38 days and i have no clue what to get the groomsmen, please tell me what you are giving and where you got them.

If I had to buy groomsmen gifts in the near future (which I don't), I would consider

-the iPod shuffle ($99)
-poker chips/cards/set
-tix to a baseball game if they're all fans
-a watch

Some ideas:

- gift cert for an airplane ticket (not sure how to do that, but I'm going to look into it)
- engraved money clip
- cuff links

We got our groomsmen pipes, tobacco and pipe lighters. They were a big hit.

We are getting them cuff links w/ their initials similar to the ones from Tiffanys but I foudn them at fortunoff for about half price.

My brother ordered personalized baseball bats for his from the Cooperstown website. They had the guys name, role in wedding and the date. I thought it was a great idea and the guys really loved them.

i just gave my best man a poker set and he dropped dead... he loved it.. just dont get a chessey one. make sure its top quality. the one i did was in a metal case. the chips look and feel like the chips at ceasers palace... it was great

the rest of the guys i did money clip/ pocket watches cause these guys already own everything from other weddings

we're getting them cifflinks with their initials engraved.

i think the poker set is a great idea too, but they each already have one!

We got them these card case/money clips from Coach. They were a big hit!


I also think the engraved can holder from Lillian Vernon is a great idea. They have great things!

We got them Swiss army knives.

(we only had 2 GM & we knew one of them had his knife taken by airport security)

We purchased them the johnny walker sampler gift set. It includes the red, black, blue and gold labels. I know they'll all put it to good use!

We have all hunters so we're giving them each a nice hunting knife and a g/c to Cabelas
