Groomsmen Gifts

Hi! I'm a bride, but I am wondering if I can get a male opinion on gifts for groomsmen. Would you prefer Tiffany cufflinks or an amex restaurant gift certificate? Or if you could tell me the nicest thing that you've ever received, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Re: Groomsmen Gifts

Cufflinks are nice, although it's rare that I would use them. They would last 'forever' though, and remind me of your wedding. I would get more use the gift certifcate, but once it's used, there would be no 'lasting' gift. The best groomsman gift I received was an engraved pocket watch.

Re: Groomsmen Gifts

I know I'm not a groom, but my fiance is doing something awesome. He's giving out 'groomsmen bats'. They are Rawlings big sticks....engraved with the ushers name, our names, and wedding date!

Rawlings doesn't have them on their website anymore, but if you do a search on yahoo or something like that for 'groomsmen bats' they will come up!

Re: Groomsmen Gifts

Well, I'll tell you what I might be doing for my groomsmen gifts. I was thinking of getting them a flask with a built in cigar holder on the side, and engrave their name and our wedding date on it. I hope it might give you another idea.

Re: Groomsmen Gifts

we just went and ordered money clips from tiffanys with their initials in it. they are very nice and i even got one for myself.
and those bats are cute. i am getting one of those, but little league size, for the ring bearer.
i don't have a pair of cufflinks, so that would be something i would need, but i love to eat too!

Re: Groomsmen Gifts

Thanks everyone! I like the bat idea, my FH would love to get that, as would some of the groomsmen. others are not too into baseball though. Would it be bad to give different gifts to different people?
