I don't think I've seen this thread before. What are the groomsmen gifts you are giving or have heard about before? How much did you spend?

This is actually FH's taks to complete but since he is slacking I figured I'd step in. I'm looking for something totally original but reasonably priced ($50 each).

We have two Best Men and three Groomsmen or ushers. We knew what we wanted to get them from the start. We thought who wouldn't like to get a watch as a gift plus FH loves watches. I'm having a hard time what to get for my Bridesmaids though.

Our BM and one of our groomsmen hang out at the beach a lot with their families, so we got them big tote bags for the beach made out of sail cloth. We are putting a gift certificate to a surf shop in the BM's bag.

We still haven't decided what we are getting my brothers (our other groomsmen). They both just got new apartments, so it will probably be something for their apartments. I am thinking maybe a framed print of something sports-related.

We got them pipes, pipe tobacco and pipe lighters. They were really cool pipes.

I think I may do mugs and pitchers that you have personalized with their last names...

I absolutely refuse to get the guys cufflinks. They will never use them. I got cufflinks from my best friend at his wedding as best man. I'd be hard pressed to tell you if i even knew where they WERE at this point... nevermind if I ever used them (which I haven't).

I am thinking about getting them iPod Shuffles.

FH and I are gonna go with the 'of the month club' for the gm's. they have everything from 'of the month beer'...to cigars...etc. we thought it was a great idea...and the subscription can last from like 2 mos to 2 yrs. ithink we are gonna go w/ 4 mos. we might get them a little somethig else that they can 'keep'. but we thought they would DEFFINATELY be ther way to go!!! What do you girls think??
