Groomsmen...sneakers or traditonal shoes

My FH wants to wear sneakers for the wedding. I wasn't against it, but my family thought it was crazy. It's an outdoor wedding in early September. What do you all think? Help!! TIA

I have seen guys with converse and I think it looks cute. You could always have them change shoes for the reception.

I've seen some really cool pics with the guys in different shoes. Who cares what everyone else thinks. It's not their feet!! Lolol

haha true, thanks guys! I was fine, but as soon as I told my mom, she like flipped. She said it would ruin the whole look and all the pictures, haha. Dramatic much!

I think it would be cute! Especially if your FH is just a sneakers kind of guy. Plus they can always wear dress shoes for the ceremony and change if it's really THAT big of a deal!

Sneakers make it yours! Definitely let FH do whatever he wants. Who cares what other people think!!

we were planning on having the guys in black addidas shell tops and I was going to wear the white ones but then I got an ivory dress and we decided we can't afford to buy all the sneakers for the guys and didn't want them to have to buy them themselves. I am still getting my two RBs converse though. I figure they will wear them until they grow out of them unlike dress shoes that they will never wear again. I say go for it, its your wedding.

I think that's a great idea! It makes your wedding unique & stand out to you.
We were thinking of having the GM wear red neon sneakers for the pics but they will wear dress shoes for the ceremony. At the reception, it's party time! so have fun with it!
