so i went to the doctor today for a physical.. i had to give them a pee sample. they found blood in it but they insisted it's bc it's my time of the month. i told them that it's really light and i had a tampon in and they were still like no thats normal.. but i don't get it! how is it normal! there was no way they could've mixed i feel like!
ugh.. i'm hoping someone can make me feel better lol sorry for my grossness!

Totally normal-I went to the doctor b/c I had a crazy allergic reaction and they swore it was b/c I was preggo even after I told them it wasnt possible *ahem* its that time of the month...and sure as the sky is blue they said you have blood in your urine...completely normal
ETA: Maybe its not that you actually have blood-maybe its just there is a high iron content in your urine...im no doctor but that is the only thing I could thing of

yes, it could mix. it doesn't mean that there is blood in your kidneys or anything but in the steam of where you pee. maybe from wiping some blood got in the opening.... i had the same thing once and that's how the doc explained it to me. tried not to sound too gross lol As long as you aren't having any pain or burning anywhere, its nothing to worry about.

Ithink it's normal....you have to remember that the amount of blood they're talking about it probably so tiny you'd never see it....could be from wiping, etc. Don't worry!

i've been told the same thing before. i don't think blood in the urine is something doctors take lightly so if that's what they think it is, i wouldn't worry. i'm sure they'd be more concerned otherwise you know?
