Group Gift Ideas for Bridal Shower?

Hi everyone --

I'm going to be a maid of honor in my friend's wedding this spring, and I'd like to coordinate some kind of group gift (in addition to the regular stuff) for her shower. For instance, I've been to showers where they asked each guest for a recipe and put it together as a book for the bride. I don't really want to do that here - too many guests who don't really cook, and a bride who's semi-vegetarian -- but I'd like to do something with a similar concept -- a gift that's a little sentimental with contributions from everyone.

I've also thought about asking everyone to contribute a photo of themselves with the bride with a memory, but that seems too un-wedding related.

Anyway, I'd love to hear any ideas! Thanks!

at my cousin's shower the girls got a wine rack and filled it with her favorite wines, and but labels on each bottle with cute poems on them for each celebration she and her husband would celebrate together in their marriage (first christmas, first fight, wedding night, first valentines, first baby was sparking champagnge, etc.).. I've seen the wine, one bottle for each milestone year, I've seen the panty one (also with a poem, each pair representing a new life phase) I've also seen a workout clothing line, and there's a cute poem that you can did online that is paired with cleaning products. I know cleaning products sounds not cute, but the poem is very cute using things like snuggle and mr. Clean.

I was going to suggest both the wine and cleaning products one. While the cleaning products one might not sound cute, the poem is and it's all stuff that will DEFINITELY get some use.
