is it possible? Im trying to save $ by growing out my tips and just getting manicures instead of my $35 fill ins. Has anyone ever grown out their tips wihout losing patience and ripping them off? See, id soak them off but my nail underneath is so weak....

use nailtiques on your nails - it does help!

Well, I have.. kind of...eventually after a while they will start to peel off easily..and just keep cutting them down..
FYI..I hated doing this though..My hands looked so ghetto and I couldn't show them to ANYONE!
You can also go to the salon and they can soak them off for you..

i had them soaked off when taking them off. I wouldnt wait...

I had tips for 10 years then grew them out. I started by fileing them down pretty short then just kept filing them down every week. This way I avoided having them be weak and paper thin which they would have been if I soaked them off.

I was just going to say the same thing-
thats a lot of $$$$$!!!!!
As far as growing them out I can't offer you advice ( my best friend gave up and put them back on)
