I was always close with my mother but not as close as I was with my father. I was daddy's little girl. I always wanted to be with my father and I always told my father everything. It was just a little different than my mom. My brother was always close to my mother.
Do you know what I mean?

my mom. we're still very close. it was tough when i moved away.
couldn't stand my dad for my entire childhood. now i tolerate him. thank goodness for my stepdad!

Definately my mom although I was daddys little girl if that makes any sense. My dad was a detective and worked crazy hours so was hardly ever home and when he was..he just wanted to rest. My mom basically provided us with any childhood we really had.

Definitely my dad-he is the absolute best!! He does EVERYTHING for me and sacrificed so much for me. I am so blessed to have him as my dad!
My mother on the other hand is the spawn of satan!!!

definitely my mom!! i was never super-close with my dad growing up, but we've gotten much closer as i have gotten older (i don't think he is able to relate to little people!!)

I was definitely closer to my father, but I think it was because my mom and I were so alike we butted heas ALOT. Now that I am older and we understand eachother more, my mom and I are as close as my dad and me.

When I was very young, my father. Then when I hit teen years, forget it - neither parent, I was closest to my great aunt and uncle (who I miss so much, I think about them everyday ) Now that I'm older I'm closer to my mom.

My mom when I was younger, then neither for a long time. Now, I hate my father, cannot even stand to live in the same state as him, but my mother and I are very close. I miss her and I wish she would move back to NY.

as a little girl- mommy. But then when I hit my teens she and I fought all the time and never saw eye to eye. We still don't. I feel bad about it but she always picks arguments with me. I think it's b/c she has the empty nest syndrome. I am an only child. My dad and I get along well, but he always backs my mom. She rules the household!
