Hey everyone, I just got back a few days ago from the bridal showcase at east wind. I was so excited when I arrived, I am not getting married until 2007, but since I am in school with a double major, I am taking my time to plan as best I can. The staff at east wind blew me off because I was not getting married until 2007, they treated me as if I were 12 yrs old. I am very disappointed. I expected better from them. Has anyone had a similiar experience either with EW or with another place?

I can't believe that they didn't want to help you. Did they say why?

Both of my friends had their receptions at East Wind. I know that they were very happy with the service. I'm sorry that that happened to you. I've only heard good things about it.

Oh sweetie, I got that from many places too.
When we went for first visits and we wrote Nov 2006 as a possible date, I felt like we only got the basic tour...once we changed the date to nov 2005, it was a whole different story.
I dont understand why though cause i'm a prospective customer no matter when i say im getting married.
I think we decided on Crest Hollow cause the Banquest manager there tried to show us everything and treated us as if we were getting married next month.

I'm sorry. That was not right. No matter when you are getting married, they should be happy to see you at their place and eager to assist.
I got mixed from people. Still to this day some vendors say I'm too early or try to blow me off, but others get me nervous saying I need to move it up!

We got that from a number of places. Some wouldnt even give us prices. Scotto Bros were great. They treated us like the wedding was right around the corner. I also liked the BM at Atlantica (Jennifer) and at Millerridge. They too were very nice & accomodating.

I got that a whole lot too and sometimes still do!!! There is no excuse for being rude to people though so I would cross them off my list immediately!!!!!!!!
I too, only hear good things about East Wind but I am sure they will be kicking themselves when 2007 does roll along!
