Who is ready for there Fh to be GLUED to the T.V in a few weeks?? Not me!! It's 10:30 on a friday night and pre- season just started and he is glued to the T.V and won't let me and my brother ((by the way who came to visit us at our apartment cause he misses us)) change the channel lol that brat!! any good ideas to keep busy once the full season starts? we should all get together leave them home and take a night out on the town haha

hahaha i'm ready for football season!! but i'm still more into baseball at the moment! hehe. i'm watching the giants kick the jets butts now hehehehe. its too bad my FH doesn't like the giants, hes a raiders fan... and he doesnt really like baseball...oh well hahaha unfortunately i have no ideas on what to do when they're watching football....i have no life haha. sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not bad enough that my FH works in sports, but he comes here and has to watch it too...of course on the big screen w/the volume blasting. Thank god for the computer and multiple TV's!!

Thanks god for LIW is all I have to say, I never get a break, first college basket ball, then baseball, then football...and the worst..College Football.... and there is always the in between...tennis and golf...
Yea my DH was like we got this nice big tv i think i wanna start watching football again in HD! He was like we can have football parties
ugh so now i cannot stand football season
plus my dad is big into football and that is now ALL they will talk about!

I guess it's a good thing FH is working tonight or we'd be watching the Jets/Giants too. If he can't watch a Giants game he Tivos it. I don't know, you see the highlights on the news, you can find out who won, I don't understand it!

I live in a football house! We eat, breathe and sleep football - I dont mind watching a game in person but I get bored watching them on TV - at this point, I ve gotten used to it!

I work for MLB...so you'd think I'd be interested in sports......but I'm the worst fan ever!!!
FH on the other hand.....he loves the Islanders, Mets & Jets......he watches not only those teams religiously BUT he's gotta watch EVERY team in the entire NHL, NFL & MLB!!!! Why you ask?? Because he's always got 2 or 3 of these crazy fantasy leagues going on....who's trading who and what not.....he's obsessed!! Oh, did I forget to mention he also plays on two softball leagues.....one is Sunday mornings, so there goes any chance of having a weekend getaway in the summer...and the other one is Wednesday nights with 2 or 3 weekends where he goes away for tournaments....thank goodness he stopped playing football a few years ago...otherwise I'd really kill him....
sorry...but this is a good venting topic!!!! I've tried to convince him shopping is a sport...but he's just not buying it.....no pun intended!!!!
Ugh football season! But what's a thousand times worse than them being glued to the tv is being glued to the tv AND the computer. Oh yes...it's fantasy football time. My fh sits on the couch all day sunday with his laptop on his lap and the remote in his hand. He's actually at his ff draft right now - it's a f!cking 6 hour long 'process!'

Blech! FH is at his big Fantasy Football Bash today so they can pick whatever it is they have to pick.
My little rain dance seems to be working, its crappy out and that means he will be back earlier than planned b/c they cant go swimming etc! HaHaHa
At 42, I would think he would outgrow Fantasy Football, but thats not likely. In fact, there is a big game the day after our wedding so he advised me he will be watching football. I told him not to worry, I will be busy cashing the checks (that'll make him think twice)

I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!! but try having a weekly get together.... last night we had ALL our friends over (whether they liked football or not) and we had to best time.... plus me & my FH didn't have to drive home ;)
