So a while ago, most of them told me that they would be able to do hair and makeup at my house. Then 2 of them said they will do it with someone else. Now another one said they will do it with someone else b/c it's cheaper.
I mean, hello? I mean, it's not like I WANT to spend $150 for hair. Why didn't any of them think to ask me? Am I wrong? I mean, would it not have been nice of them to just mention it to me???
I just asked my BM to ask the girl she is going to if she can do a trial on me. I mean, I don't want to have to pay $150 if I don't have to!!!!! I just asked her again if she can ask the girl if I can do a trial, and she said 'If it were all of us, she said it would be $35 a person..'
She didn't say 'okay, I will ask her' I mean , she shouldn't have to but I mean, it would've been nice of someone to think of me and said 'hey, maybe you want to do this b/c it's cheaper'.
Ugh....I am just so pissed right now. ;( None of my bridesmaids thought to clue me into this.

I was very upset when my BM decided to do her hair else where from the rest of the girls...it pissed me off. She also decided to do it last minute. I was like wtvr, but made sure she got her makeup done at my house. Now maybe your girls think that you have a stylist for your wedding and that you will not go cheaper or consider someone else. I just think they should all run things by you so you can approve. I allowed my MOHers to get a different style but with my approval. Maybe you can ask to over see the persons work where they are getting it done and of course see it that you also get a trial if you can. My bridesmaid wouldn't have mentioned to any other stylist because I had already chosen mine and some time when it comes to wedding us brides don't want to go to someone else.

I don't think your bridesmaids meant any harm. they probably figured that you picked the person you loved. They wanted to go cheaper, and I really don't blame them. Its a stressful time right now, and you are probably more sensitive than usual, which is so normal. Don't get upset. Its so not worth it. If you've had a trial with your person and love it, I'd leave it alone. You want to love how you look on your wedding day.

I agree that maybe I am a little emotional, and you are right maybe they thought I loved he person I choose. I actually went with her b/c I don't want to go around looking for millions of people, so the first girl I saw, I am going with. I just sort of wish everyone would have maybe just asked me? I dunno. I just felt like I was left out. When all this time I was looking for girls who were cheap enough so that my girls wouldn't have to pay alot of money. It's not like I did it just for myself. I have been thinking about them every step of the way. Just thought it was a bit selfish of them.
When I did my trial, my hair came out not so short after she left, so I am worried if maybe me laying on the couch might have done it, (It wasn't for long) Or maybe I should go with someone else. So I may want to change her, and I don't know. :(

same exact thing happened to me. I arranged for the hairstylist to come to my house. it was $125 which was only slightly more than they would pay at a salon, plus I would take care of the tip. they all opted to get their hair done elsewhere. I was thinking in convenience terms, so we could hang out at my house and all that... but whatever.. i hope their hair comes out nice....

I agree. I don't think the BMs meant to hurt you. They probably thought you had a set makeup artist and that was it.. Let me tell you.. I already told my BMs to go get their hair and makeup done somewhere else bc GOD HELP ME if I'm going to have 9 girls plus my mom at my house ALL getting their hair and makeup done at the same time.. I'd rather run in traffic! I want my day to be with just my mom and MOH,. Then the BMs can come over and get dressed!

That is actually true, perhaps you are right. It would be too crazy. Plus the 3 girls are from FH's side of the family, and while they are cool , they can be a bit ditsy and I don't want them to cause a 'scene' ya know? I guess maybe its better off. I will stick to my plans and they can do their thing. :)
