GRRR FFIL!!! (a little long, but I need to vent this)
Why? is all I have to say!! I sent out my invites about 3 weeks ago and I just got one back in the mail today... Wrong address, that's not a big deal right?
But FFIL tells me that him and his cousin don't really talk anymore and he is not calling for his address!! Why must we invite people that FH don't even know that FFIL DON'T talk too at all!?!?!?!
It just aggravated me being as how my parents and grandparents are paying for the WHOLE wedding (RD and all, his family isn't contributing at all) and we have to invite these people no one even talks too.. Not to mention, all of a sudden my FIL's realize that my list is 220 people and there's is only like 130 so they tack on 30 more people just because they thought it was unfair that my family invited so many people..

I don't want to sound mean or selfish towards my FH, but he don't even know these people exist! All of a sudden, my FFIL has to invite is 5 friends from their local post office because they have been going there for 10 years.. ARE THEY SERIOUS!?!?! They don't invite FH and his family to anything because they aren't friends like that, they just 'know' each other from going to the P.O. for so many years!
I don't want to sound like a mean, selfish biotch, but at $150 a head and 350 invited it's just to expensive for my family and it's unfair that my FFIL just wants to invite all these people to make FHs list as many people as mine.. It wouldn't be that big of a deal but my families original offering was 300 people invited and obviously they wont all come.... Thats more than generous and my parents could have turned around and told FIL's they can invite 100 people and anything over that, they have to pay for!! But, my family kept quite because they want me to have a stress-free wedding of my dreams..
