GRRR...annoyed.

My invitation lady just called and was talking about how the company that I'm ordering my invitations w/ does not have a 'finished' envelope to match - ***?

Ok, ya know the liner inside the envelope - it's usually complementary color & diff texture - well, she could get matching IVORY envelopes, but w/o the liner, described.....

I personally think that the liner is what makes it look FINISHED AND formal - I'm so pissed

OPINIONS please!!!!!!!!!!!

She said that the ivory liner only comes with white envelopes and white would NOT go...

I suggested gold - but she said the gold is an ugly gold color

Ughhhh, I'll probably just have to take a ride over there and see myself

She suggested just skipping a liner altogether - but I think that looks cheeeeesy - WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I agree with you...the liner is important (IMHO)...What if you do a color for the entire envelope instead of just the liner? Can you show a photo of what the invitations look like?

I dont have a pic yet - will - I actually may have to change the friggin invites altogether - I DONT UNDERSTAND how they have invites w/o nice envelopes - they are NOT cheap invites...=(

Personally I don't think you need inner envelopes at all. If you really want them, get the ivory and have a design printed on them so they look dressed up.

The cheapasss in me wonders how many people really care about the liner if its there or not... LoL I agree, I like it better with b/c it does have that finished look but hey! If you really love your invites, then dont change em altogether just b/c of the envelope! Thats silly!!

if lined envelopes are really important to you have you considered doing them yourself....or you could order them off the net. There's plenty of sites that sell lined envelopes. Envelopemall.com and papersource.com are just a couple
