How can one flower place say the ceiling decor is $1,500.00 and a different one say it's $750.00 (both florists recommended by NRC).
On a side note the first florist I went to quoted me a package of 8K and said there was nothing they could do to bring the price down. They didn't even suggest alternating high and low cp's
I'm curious . . . what have my fellow NRC brides that are using recommended NR florists get quoted for flowers and the ceiling decor?

I'm not a NRC bride - but I would suggest looking outside of their recommended vendors. I've found the recommended people are usually more expensive than elsewhere.

My cousin got married there she didn't use pedestals but she called them for a quote for the ceiling they told her it was 1,500 but they would only do it if she used them for all her flowers.what other place did u call

we definitely did not go with their recommended florists and I'm glad we did b/c that quote that you got is ridiculous!

we are doing flowers this month- we are meeting with Stefan's hopefully next week (they are preferred,right?). Im on the fence about pedastals (since they have some mixed reviews) but will probably meet with them also. After that, we will see......who quoted you 8k?

im using the little flower shop and im paying like $4000 for 20 high centerpieces and 10 bouqets 3 coursages, 12 boutineers, 12 pew bows

I posted last week about the importance of NOT using recommended vendors with the exception of de Seversky and I think the other was Vineyard. Every place charges their vendors 10-15% (Oheka charges 20%) and that cost is passed on to you. This doesn't mean their suggested people aren't good or great but you're paying for their yellow page type relationship. The best vendor is the one who makes you feel secure, demonstrates quality CS and has good reviews. It's also fine to ask for references and actually call them. IMO a much better use of time than meeting with 20 different ones

I called about this last week. I found out either pedestals or Stephans can do it.
This was NEVER mentioned to me prior. We want tooling, so I will get a quote from stefans already did from pedestals.
