Grrrrr.....

Grrrrr.....

I HATE football season...the drama has already started...last night FH HAD to go out with 'the boys' to watch the game... puleze...not only did he come in at 1:00am BUT he dind't go to work today....said he was too tired...gee I wonder why???? Could it have been the three extra beers that you drank and didn't need to drink on a Monday night?????

I don't care that he goes out HOWEVER its this one particualr friend of his that when he calls FH to go out I know that the end result is usually him coming home late (and sometimes trashed) and not going to work...(I pt my foot down awhile ago and told him enough's enough...if you go out on a weekday be a man the next morning and get your arse out of bed and to work) so for awhile he's told his 'friend' that he can't go out... last night he promised that he wouldn't be late or that he wouldn't drink...that went out the window fast...the only good thing about all this is that there will not be a 'next time' with his friend...you overstepped your limit buddy so that settles that....

sorry girls just needed to let that all out...phew I feel better

Honestly, I don't blame you one bit for being pissed. I'd be! It's one thing to go out for a couple of beers, but to be so trashed that he can't get up and go to work??? That's outta hand. Does he drive home like that???

I am pretty lucky in that respect. FH will drag his butt out of bed to go to work no matter what! A fever doesnt even keep him home.

I hear you sista

Boys and their football - they are just like little kids with no rules and no boundaries

FH is in 3 fantasy leagues this season and I cannot stand sports at all (unless you count gymnastics)!

No thank god...

He's never like this with any other friend just this particualr one...he know how I feel about him so he has DEFINATELY limited his time hanging out with this guy...but I just knew when he told me that he was going out with him last night that this am was going to happen like it did...
Like I said this is the best thing that could have happened....he lost all priviliages now... and he knows I'm serious...

Re: Grrrrr.....

Go ahead and vent.....you have reason to! There is no reason for him to go out during the week if he is not going to be able to function the next day. Calling in sick to work is an immature thing to do and you have a good reason to be annoyed with him. I would talk to him, later today if possible and point out to him the way he acts when he goes out with this certain friend. I am sorry you had to deal with this sometimes the FH can drive you crazy!

Re: Grrrrr.....

I hear ya girlie I'm lucky that my FH isn't into sports BUT there is one friend that gets him to go out and whenever he goes out with him he always comes homevery late a nd so trashed he can't function the next day at all. I would be pissed and complain to him about it but it wouldn't do any good. One n ite he went out and overdid it he didn't get home till 6am and I was pissed to all hell cuz he couldn't function at all. Later on that day his friend called him up and FH was still in bed now its in the late afternoon and I asnwered FH cell phone and totally flipped on the guy he was like its not my fauly he drank so much and I said yeah but if you were any type of friend you would o f seen how trashed he was and not let him drink anymore and get him a cab if you weren't ready to go home also your single and dont' have anyone to go home to and he does and a child on top of that tou should have some respect and not make him feel guilty about going home. I also said some other things that weren't so nice and the friend didn't call him for a while to go out then he called again and I told FH you don't come home at the time you say you are or you come home trashed to hell then the sh*t is going to hit the fan. I also told the friend this as well I told FH that if he isn't home I will go to the place myself. Well low and behold things worked out and he came home the time he was supose to and he has realized things now doesn't really hang out with this friend anymore. I hope it all works out for you as well

My FH is in a fantasy league. If the games not on, he's on the computer working on his team.
