Grrrrr SO MAD
Do I have the right to be mad?
FI had to get his car serviced this morning at 7am. I offered to go with him, but he said no... he called at 10:30 and they still hadn't even LOOKED at the car, so I told him I'd come pick him up. He refused, saying it was too far for me (I live in Shoreham and he was in Bay Shore) I told him i'd take a quick shower and leave to pick him up and we'd do a little shopping. He said no, but I felt bad so I got ready and left to pick him up.
It took me nearly an hour to get there, and I am getting off the exit ramp when he calls my cell to tell me he's almost home! I said, 'WHAT? I'm in Bay Shore, what do you mean? You said you'd call if they took your car!?!' So instead of him thanking me for the gesture, or at least going shopping with me, he said, 'well, whatever, I told you not to come, it's not my problem, I'm going home to take a shower and have breakfast, I'm not going out now!'
Didn't even invite me over and now it's like 3 hours later and he's not answering my calls... I tried to get my oil changed at 3 different places and they were all booked... so I came home and now I'm just seething... I can't believe he's not calling me!
GRRRRRRR Am I wrong? I mean, I'm not mad that he left, he didn't know I was coming (but he called to get me to pick him up, i know that, he knew I'd come anyway because I'm stubborn like that) but I AM mad that he was nasty to me on the phone, and that now he's freakin ignoring me!
Maybe winning some diamond earrings would help my mood...
