Grrrrrrrrr!!!

Dear FSD,

In case you haven't noticed, you are 7. Also, I am 25. I know things you don't know, I know how to do many things you don't even understand. Seeing as this is the case, if you could STOP arguing with me like you know better than I do I'd REALLY appreciate it...its infuriating, and I don't think you like me yelling at you any more than I like yelling at you. Yelling before 8:30am is just wrong. Please try to remember this the next time you want to talk back.

That's infuriating. I hate when kids talk back... not that I have any but whenever I see it happen I want to yell at the kid myself.

Sorry I just had to laugh. I have a 9, 13, and 17 yo. It only gets worse. My theory is as long as I don't kill them I am doing a good job!

This is pretty much how I feel...I know its a good day when at the end of the day I'm saying 'Well...today didn't end in a murder/suicide...so altogether, it wasn't so bad'

I was just on the phone with my mom, who is taking care of my brother & SILs three kids this week. My nephew is almost 9 & the girls are 6 & 3. My parents have the kids at their house Upstate, NY & since it has been so hot they have been taking them to the town pool. Well apparently yesterday my nephew decided he was going to argue with every adult at the pool. My mom was mortified. She said she has never gotten so many eye rolls from other parents ever.
