FH is glued to the tv when he is off on Sundays. Now it wouldnt be so bad if he wanted to go to a bar to watch the game because I can have fun then.
yea sometimes my fh suggests that too! so thats not sooo bad!

lol yeah, but we have a wedding to go to today so he cant watch it lol.
I dont even mind at this moment anymore, only starting this week bc we FINALLY have saturday nights together...from april-sept(labor day weekend) he plays softball early sunday mornings so we cant go out late night on saturdays, last night was the first in forever and OMG i was so happy hahaha, when we were walking out of the house to go out i was like OH WOW wait its saturday i almost forgot bc not used to it lol
But of course someone called and asked if he can fill in for another player on their team today but it started at 12:30pm so its not bad lol
denise let me ask you something..did your fh complain that the wedding was the same day as the game?!?!? lol mine did for our engagement party!!!! I was like you've got to be joking me!
well it was funny bc earlier this week he was like 'oh just so you know im going to so and so's house to watch the game on sunday' i was like OK i guess ill go to your bosses wedding by myself lol...he was like no it will be fine i can make it, i said uhmmm ok if you want to drive out to massapequa at 1pm and then come back, take a shower get dressed and be ready to leave by 5 go ahead, he didnt realize what time it started and thought it was later on, then he was like OH yeah nevermind i wouldnt be able to do it.
Just be glad alot of your FH's JUST watch it, imagine if they watched it all the time, had about 8-10 fantasy teams in total with Baseball and football which both are going on right now, and played ALOT, he plays april-sept softball, sept-mid november snowflake softball, and then plays football too...With all of those hes on god knows how many leagues, about 4 softball teams, now about 2 snowflake leagues(it just started so might be more, it always adds on lol) and ill see how many football teams it will be later on lol

I love watching football, so I really don't mind to much, I'm sort of used to it from highschool with cheerleading. But honestly all you girls who don't like football to much, defiantly try and go to a real live game, I swear its soooo much better, soo surprise FH with tickets and you will defiantly have fun and score some points lol .... Now if he was into basketball I would defiantly HATE that lol

FH is going between the Jets game and the Yankee game. Then at 8 tonight he is going to watch the Giants. It is fine with me this season because I am going to have a lot of school work to do so I can do it when he watches the game.

Reading these posts makes me even happier that FH isn't a sports-crazed person! He watches the Yankees, but isn't obsessed like some of these guys sound! I wouldn't be happy if he dedicated all that time to sports....no wonder why some of you ladies are on here so much! lol They should make a 'substitute FH' forum for you poor ladies!

i like that FH plays sports and encourage him to play...I love that he is active and hope he continues to do so until he is alot older. My onlyproblem was with sunday morning games. Its good for him to have hobbies, he needs it lol and physically too its great for them...I look at his dad and what great shape he is in and still active...my dad stopped playing sports years ago and he isn't as healthy.
I dont feel sorry for myself lol so i hope people dont have pity on me...I go to games too alot and i love that. We still spend more than plenty of time together, we stay over eachothers houses all the time so its a bit different. And i come on here alot bc at work im on all day, weekend nights not usually on here, just sometimes in the daytime on weekend daytime...Fh makes up for it, sat nights he cant hang out late so we would always wake up early saturdays and go to brunch, go out shopping, do a bunch of things together until early evening...On fridays we usually go out to dinner. Sunday nights we used to go to his nighttime games, and during the week he plays 2 nights so we have the rest to spend together...The past 2 weeks have been more hectic bc he went away and played almost every night but its great too, we missed eachother alot and he really showed that he did and it was great to feel like that.
Him playing sports is one of the many things I like about him, thank god bc he can be quite metro and wouldn't be able to take JUST that, so i love his rugged manly side. My ex didnt play sports and watched just playoffs and things like that and i used to get annoyed, i would say UGH CAN WE WATCH THE GAME!!!!!! please, and when guys would ask him to play sports with them he wouldn't and i would be like omg go play.
So no need to feel sorry, i wouldnt like it if he didnt play sports.

Re: grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
oh and better believe my boy or boys will start VERY EARLY!!! little league at 4 years old and i will prep him the whole way through HS for the major leagues lol...Plus FH will probably coach his little leagues which is a great bonding relationship for fathers and sons, i see FH and his dad and the relationship they have bc of it, and them even playing together.
I am a big baseball fan so i dont mind, for girls who dont like sports i guess i can see why they wouldn't like it.
Plus seeing FH on the field, making great plays, hitting home runs and people always talking about what a great player he is, is a turn on I LOOOVE watching him play and cheering him on.

thats great and true. FH's forearm is insane, and yeah it really keeps their arms in shape, he doesnt work out anymore just what he gets from playing so its a good thing lol
