We have fleas.....we pulled up all the rugs in our house and its pretty yucky. They are all over. We bombed the house once already, but it didn't work. So I think we're going to have to call an exterminator.
Thank goodness we are not moving in until the fall. :bang

that stinks! be sure there is nothing around when you bomb the place that could be allowing the fleas to stay. FIL was a real estate agent years ago and a customer bought a house that was empty and bombed the place, but the fleas kept coming back. they realized that there was a vacuum in a closet and the fleas were in the bag, allowing them to keep coming back! good luck getting rid of them!

I'm sorry! When I was in high school my cat got fleas and they were everywhere! After the cat ran away, we thought they were gone, but as soon as we got a new cat (2 years later ), they attacked him too...and we almost killed him with flea baths! After that, my parents had Terminex come every month to spray and we never had a problem again. And we had an outdoor cat.
It's a pain at first (and gross ) but you can get it under control!

Well the update is we had to get an exterminator. The bombs did not work and we bombed 3 times. We were getting bitten by fleas constantly and since we are both still living at home (THANK GOD)...we did not want to bring it home with us.
So we have a year contract and if we see more fleas they come back. We have unlimited calls. The guy was really nice and saturated our house with double chemicals to kill these little pests.

Awww, that stinks. You have me thinking now.....we just bought a home where the owner had 2 giant dogs and an outdoor cat with yucky carpets. I hope we don't have any. We're having the house and our apt. for one month at the same time. I'll be sure to check that first, so if we do have a problem, I can fix it before we officially move in. We have a cat and that would be an absolute nightmare. I hope your home stays flee free.
