Grrr...wedding day earings

Grrr...wedding day earings

I can't find any earings I like! I want something that dangles, but not too much...if that makes sense. Anyone have any ideas? Just something simple, but elegant. Shouldn't be too hard, right?

My DH bought mine at Macy's...diamonds and aquamarines, you could see pics in my review. I completely wanted what you described and that's what I got. You'll find something!

Not to change the subject for a second...I just gotta tell you that the puppy in your avatar is just sooooooooooo CUTE!!! I love it!

Sorry....just had to say it....but I've always found the best earrings for this kind of occasion at Macy's too! I would definitely go there and check them or Lord and Taylor has nice ones sometimes too...Good Luck!

Thanks! I got the pic from a web site about beagles...I thik they are so cute!

I was looking at Macys and the ones that I found that were nice were so expensive !

Somethingblu...your wedding day earings were very pretty! Where did your DH get them?

The thing is that my hole closed in one ear, so I have to get it re-pierced (and I am a big baby when it comes to needles). I really wanted to find some nice earings to motivate me to get them pierced for the wedding.

Re: Grrr...wedding day earings

my FH got me these for my birthday, and I'm planning to wear them for the wedding... is this the kind of thing you meant by dangling but not too much? They're from overstock.com, so they weren't too crazy expensive but are still out of nice quality materials (white gold, sapphire, and really really teeny diamonds).
(I know they were a gift... but I love looking at the jewelry on overstock and I found them there... don't tell FH though! He doesn't like me to know how much he spends on me
)

Thanks! He got them from Macy's and they're similar to those posted by weddingbunny. Pics in my review.

I've heard about a lot of brides getting really simple but beautiful day-of jewelery from www.creme-de-luxe.com

Omg, I had the same problem...It took me forever to find my earrings. I knew exactly what I wanted and they were no where to be found until I went to Nordstrom. They had a huge selection and the minute I laid my eyes on my earrings I knew I had to have them.

Definitely check them out, they have a great selection in jewelry.

Good luck

Re: Grrr...wedding day earings

Earring shopping is definately the most difficult. I am looking for a modified chandelier where it they are fairly narrow and long. Since I want white gold and diamonds, it has become more so difficult.

I got something VERY delicate and pretty, which will catch the light beautifully at Swarovski. Did you look there? They have beautiful stuff! There's one in Smith Haven Mall and Roosevelt Field Mall. You can try them on and see how you like them!
