GTG

Original post by BellaRegina

Anyone interested in a LIW GTG? I don't really know when i'm free yet (waiting for next month's schedule), but i think it would be a blast to go out to lunch or brunch and TALK WEDDINGS! Were all ina similar place with our planning so i think we can really bounce some ideas off of one another!
I love around the corner from Tosca Marquie and they do a pretty decent brunch. ANyone interested?

Re: GTG

Let's be careful with dinner on a Sunday girls, we don't want the g2g to be too late, and I'm not missing this! The first g2g sets the tone for future g2gs
btw., 10/24 is my b'day (did I mention that )?

Re: GTG

5pm early dinner works fine for me. I'm not TOO familiar with LI...i was thinking glen cove cause i'm familiar with it and its off of the LIW (exit 39 i believe).
Suggestions for other (resonable priced) places are of course welcome!
I'm coming from the Bx (about 10 min from the throgs neck bridge) so nothing tooooo far out please.

Re: GTG

I live right on the Bk/Qns border, near the belt pkwy, so I'm close to all of the highways. I don't have a preference. And I looooove Thai!
Thanks for the almost B'day wishes!!

Re: GTG

Any ideas where to go. I am guessing somewhere in nassau county makes most sense.

Re: GTG

I am down for whatever... I work in NYC and live in Nassau...

I already made a suggestion before, but i guess no one liked it

Re: GTG

Maybe some Nassau suggestions? since everyone's either in Nassau or Suffolk...the next one can be in Suffolk, then NYC, Queens, etc.

Re: GTG

Nassau sounds perfect. The two suggestions thrown out so far have been:
Lola's in Long Beach for brunch (im not familiar with long beach really...is that nassau?)
Sarin thai in Glen Cove

Are all in agreement for oct 24th around 5pm?

Okay, well after 5pm will not be brunch at Lola's anymore... but there are plenty of restaurants in Long Beach we can go to (including a thai place as someone suggested earlier).

Long Beach is in Nassau County - Exit M10 off the Meadowbrook Pkwy for anyone coming from eastern LI.

For those of you coming from Bronx/Queens, it's right off the Nassau Expressway Rt 878.

Re: GTG

I'm a thai snob so i'm only down for thai if we go to sarin in glen cove (yea i'm difficult lol).

Obviously my vote is for sarin, anyone else wanna make sugestions...agree/disagree?
