GTG Grab Bag $10..thoughts?

What is a grab bag

in it's plainest explanation.. it's a bag with a gift inside.. you don't know what it is.. you just grab at random. You get what's inside.

I used to love going to the local jewelry place (I think it was claire's back then) and give them $1 for a random 'grab bag' hehe

Actually it wasnt my idea.. the grab bag (wish I could take credit) but that's a good question.. I guess anything works.. hand cream, Cold Stone Creamry Cert hehe whatever.

Im open to suggestions to post so others can think of stuff.

how about once we deice who's going we make a thread about ourself, likes, hobbies, etc. And you can get based on that. Remove names once you choose an item?

Isn't the point of a grab bag...to get something 'generic' so that anyone who picks will enjoy it? Are we supposed to buy something for somebody specific...like a secret santa type thing? I'm confused

I suggested the Grab bag, and the idea i had was to bring something useful, cute, or creative that would be helpful or enjoyed by any Bride 2 B like ourselves something wedding or honeymoon related.

it def should be something generic that anyone would like, does that make sense??

Anyway i cant wait i think it will be fun, and if you cant afford to bring a gift, or just dont want to; thats fine, then just dont grab one from the bag

If we pick names that will be way too confusing for those of us who are just meeting for the first time.

Another idea.

Those who want to participate bring something wrapped or 'bagged' and put their name on a list. (as long as the number of names matches the number of gifts) then we all just pick at random what's in the 'pot' that way it's just a luck of the draw. You just 'grab a bag'.

Anytime I've been in a grab bag, this was the way it was done. I love the idea. If I can go, I am definitely going to bring a gift.

I'm in. Just let me know what we are doing.
