GTG - Thursday, May 18 - WHERE?

So we've narrowed down the day, so who wants to come? Where do we all want to meet? I would recommend Commack area and 110 Area since that usually helps bring in different groups from around the various towns, but I'm also game for the Smithaven Mall area since I live out east. Time will be 6:30pm/7:00pm.

Eh - what can I say - I just don't like staying at home alone nearly every night while FH is practicing with his band preparing for their gigs. That - and I'm not from LI and didn't have any friends until I met all of you, you each have made me feel so welcome, that I love spending time with you!!

Charlie Brown's is really good, Old Street Pub in Smithtown (probably thats too far East for the Nassau/Queens people), Tofu is yummy for Chinese food.
There is always the Applebees/Chilis/Ruby Tuesdays thing.
Commack is becoming the mecca of restaurants and all things retail.

There are tons in Commack- Bertuccis, Pomodorino, The Grill room, Bennigans, Butterfields...

I've already got it marked on my calendar, no mix-ups this time!!!!!!!

I'm good for either Commack or the Smithaven Mall area. I'll go to 110 but the other 2 choices are closer. As far as a particular restaurant it doesn't matter, I'll eat anything!!!

Also, what food is Charlie Brown's? I've heard of it, but never been there!

I can try to make it but I work in the clinic until 8pm or about so depending if it's 110 or commack I could be there by 8:30pm latest.

Would you guys still be there?

And I would have to come in my scrubs!!!! No time to change.

Charlie Brown's is a steak house, but they have so much more. I love going there and I don't eat red meat. I guess the best way to classify the food is american.

YUM - is all I have to say!!!

Since I actually do NOT have pool that night, it doesn't matter where to me at all!!!! Any location works!!

I think the 'Commack' Bertucci's that she's referring to is actually Hauppauge, that's right by where I work. The other restaurants she mentioned; Pomodorino's (good), Butterfields (expensive) and the Grill Room (chic) are all Hauppauge. Bennigan's is actually considered Brentwood.

And yes, we'll def still be around at 8:30!!

I saw Bennigans, and just started out from there.
Right on Motor Parkway thouhg, real easy to get to!

Anything around Northern State and LIE is better for me.

I prefer 110 (closer to me) BUT I voted for Commack (trying to be fair to those who travelled to 110 last time ). I cannot go farther East of Commack though... Too far from my house!
