FI and I have been debating asking my good friend's twins to do us the honor. We finally decided that we would like them to participate in the ceremony only. We presented it to their parents and they were thrilled! My friend is so excited that her kids will be in the wedding (and that she can send them home afterwards and party with us!). And FI and I love these kids and think they will be perfect (they'll be a few months over 3 the day of the wedding).
Just wanted to share my good news.

Thanks Kell! We really are so happy that the kids will be in the ceremony. They are wonderful children and we think they'll make our wedding even more special.

Thats great Hollie. Congrats! I love when kids are a part of wedding ceremonies. We are having 2 FG's (1 1/2 and 3) walking with their brothers as escorts mainly to get the down the aisle (one is 4 1/2, the other is 5) and my nephew (2 1/2) as ring bearer. All of the children will have rides home right after the cocktail hour so their parents can enjoy the evening. The parents suggested it - I didnt even have to, but I would have if they didn't.

Congrats! We wish we could do that.......my FH has a set of twin cousins....and we would LOVE to have them....but we know it wouldnt go over if we just asked them for the ceremony...and we dont want young children at the wedding...
Thats wonderful! Kids make the ceremony sometimes. I've seen so my videos of weddings and just seeing the kids, there so cute!

I'm asking a twin to be my flower girl but my FH doesn't want her twin bro to be the ring bearer because FH's nephew will be. Poor kid.

I always thought it was cute when the flower matches the rest of the bridesmaids. Although I'm breaking my own rule. My flower girls are going to wear fairy wings and dress.
