I dont think I came come to this so-called get together..


Really wanted to see you ladies and stuff.. but My life actually moves forward... I can't just keep an open mind for an imaginary date for LIWeddings to annouce a GTG. I need advance notice to property align finances (since Im SURE this won't be cheap) and also time.

It's nearly a month since they dropped this hint and not a real concrete word other than not on halloween and not in September. I just can't plan my life around so much uncertainty. If I miss the post or something happens.. I won't have the time or money to make it.

Shame.. but it's better to just write this one off in my mind than hold out hope.


On the brighter side.. at least I *KNOW* there's a *FREE* gathering on Oct 4th for LIwedding brides.

It will probably be in Jan because Ron mentioned at the first GTG that he will arrange one every six months. The first one was in Jane, the 2nd in June and 6 months later would be in Jan.

Am I right Ron?

Let us know already. I am making plans to go away in Jan so please let us know...asap.

GTG is a Get Together

Sometimes the girls on the board may form one on their own.

This GTG is run by Ron who owns this site. He usually does this one 2 times a year. He has prizes and giveaways. At our last one, a girl won a scanner. I think someone else won a DVD player.

the prizes are all different but wedding related. I won 100 engraved matchbooks, a gift certificate and some other cool gifts. Other girls have won garters, cake cutting sets, engagement shoots, etc...

its a lot of good stuff. Food, drinks, prizes, music. We all have a good time.

All I can say is the next one will be FANTASTIC and a must go for any bride to be. Yeah Yeah it's great for the newlywed too.

One correction - the GTGs are also run and planned by Liz as well as the entire staff. Actually, Liz does most of the work.
