Guess what else happened to me today....
My car was towed.
I went to the Michaels in Glendale. the parking lot was packed so I parked in the lot by Woodhaven Lanes. The bowling alley is closed though. i was the only car there but figured I would only be a few minutes. I read a WARNING sign but it just stated do not park here overnight, do not double park. business hours only. Then it stated tow prices. I come outside 10 minutes later to find my car gone. I thought someone stole it. I called my cousin who is a police officer for 112th precint. He was off duty and told me he would call back. Two minutes later a man walks out and wonders what happened to his car. After that a lady with 2 kids come out and wonders what happened. Now I realize all our cars were towed. i call the number and the guy tells us $172. I say OK but call my cousin back. He send two police officers on duty to me. They arrive before my car did and said they would speak to the guy. They told him I was the lieutenants daughter. The guy asked what my fathers name was and I just studdered... DUH!! I have no clue. Anyway long story short I was the only one who didnt have to pay....
