FH's christening bonnet for me to use as a hanky and my 'something borrowed and/or blue.' ![]()
We went to brunch as a family to celebrate the engagement and she handed us some gifts but I didn't see this one coming. She included a letter that accompanied other bonnet/hankies passed down in their family for generations that was old and tattered, explaining that FH's bonnet was worn by him and saved by his mother for the day he finds his wife. HOW SWEET!! These are the moments that make all the stress of planning the wedding worthwhile! It makes me so happy and honored to become part of their family!
