Guess what happened to me!!!

Ok so after I saw Maureen's flutes, I am to admit I wanted the same ones but someone outbit me on ebay and the other people selling them were charging way too much, so I was like ok whatever. I went to Macys.com and I saw the pearl stem ones and I was like ok I will get those. FH and I go to Macys on Friday afternoon and buy the flutes and we come home late. Im so excited to show my mother and guess what happened???


When I took them out to show her, the flutes were already engraved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that??!! There were several boxes on the shelf but I kept opening them to see that they were ok. The only reason I took those was because they were the only ones wrapped in tissue paper. I was so pissed!! I went back today to return them and they had enough, but this time I checked to make sure they didnt have anything on them.

I am so happy I have my flutes now and now I have to find a place to engrave them with MY INFORMATION!

i cant believe they would sell ones that are already engraved...

Wow!!! Did they feel bad for having engraved flutes out on the sales floor??? Glad you were able to go back and get clean ones!

The sales women was like 'um werent you here yesterday?' and I started laughing and I told her and she like wow thats wierd and gladly exchanged them for me.

My mother was like 'Could you imagine if you didnt check them and you just had kept them in the box?'

I would have been devistated!!

Thats insane dont they check them before they put them back onto the shelf?
I bet they returned them after the wedding..how terrible!

I wonder if the people who returned them got them as a gift and never even opened the box to look at them. Imagine that someone spent the money to go have them engraved and the ungrateful idiots returned them? How Rude!

I have the same ones!!!! I got them as a present so they are not engraved yet.... where are you getting them engraved?
