Thanks for the phone number. Except Maggie's gave me the wrong answer (= not the one I was looking for)! Oy. I'll call the bridal salon when they're open tomorrow to ask them about it.

i had the same problem with a Stephen Yearick dress that i am obsessed with. BR in NYC called the designer who agreed ti cut the dress for me if I wanted it.

if maggie doesn't have it anymore, unless you want a sample, find something similar.

Sigh. It's ok. I don't have my heart set on one dress yet, though that one was my front-runner for now.

I'm not ready to buy anything this early, and I'm back in England until around Christmas anyway. I wouldn't mind a sample, but they're all too big for me. I just don't understand why Helen's had me try on the dress on Saturday if they can't get it anymore. Heck, the saleswoman tried to get me to order it then and there.

Maybe I'll go back to my original (mostly joking) plan and take a trip to Barcelona to try on some Pronovias dresses there.
