Guess what I found out!

My DH's aunt took one of the bud bowls. (not a problem, that's what they were there for)

But, she lives in Italy. So, when she flew home, she wanted to take it with her...with the rose AND the water...

So, she held it in her hands for the ENTIRE plane ride back to ITALY! She said that she loved it SO much that she wasn't going to let it go! So, she brought it back home and everyone else in Italy who couldn't make it to the wedding got to see what our roses looked like!!!

Aww, that is so sweet.

I too am surpised they let her take it. I took a bouquet on a flight once, but I would think they glass bowl would be considered dangerous.

I'm glad she was able to bring it back to Italy though.
