Guess What? MY FSIL is

Pregnant!!! So I was wondering, I've started looking for BM's dresses and I was wondering if anyone knows which designers carry maternity? Trust me, I am not switching my style of dress for her, but, I know that Jim Helms Occassions has maternity and I like their dresses. Do any of you know if Lazaro or any other designers carry it? She'll be 8 mos. at my wedding. She was previously in someone's elses wedding and she still had her weight from her last pregnancy and had to buy 2 dresses. I don't want her to have to buy two dresses but, if she has to she has to!

No one knows she is pregnant, not even my FH. Just my FMIL and Me. She doesn't even know I know. She wants to pass her 1st trimeter. I had a clue when my FMIL asked 'Because 3 of your bm's are married, what will happen if one of them got pregnant?' She later confirmed it the next day while we were dress shopping and accidentally mentioned it to the sales lady. I'm dying to tell my FH but, he will definetly tell his Dad(they are divorce) and I will be caught in the middle of the drama! Believe me....there is always drama in the family. LOL Thanks Gals!

Congrats to her and hope for a healthy baby and to not drive you nuts in the process!

My cousin/BM is prego and she is due in Feb. she is already starting to show A LOT!!! She looks like she is 5 months. I can't get her fitted now b/c she will have had the baby in July for my wedding, but Feb/March is too late to get her fitted. I am at a loss as well. Don't know what to do. Did you say 100 lbs. That is crazy! Serves her right for being the FSIL from hell.

I don't know who makes maternity dresses. However when I went with my girls to get their dresses, one of the girls said she thinks she may be pregnant by the time my wedding comes (if all works out likes she wants it to, she'll also be about 8 months pregnant...but who knows for sure...she going to start trying in Sept). We went to RK Bridal and the owner told her to order a dress a few sizes larger and extra material (***RK does not alter dresses for pregnant bridesmaids...only brides**) so when the dress comes in, if she's not pregnant, then she has to go to a tailor or seamstress and get it taken in, if she is pregnant, the owner at RK said they open up the seams and put in the extra material like a trapeze dress (ie: not a bigger size per se but a trapeze dress...if you can visualize it).

So........perhaps the seamstress where you are getting her dress can do that for you. But if you are already buying the dress through RK Bridal, call them asap and tell them the situation. Congratulations to her and good luck!!
