GUESS WHAT! *Updated!

I have had such a HECTIC couple of weeks... so I havent really been on posting much... just lurking a bit... but my art show is over at the elem. school, so now it is the calm before the storm (the end of the year and our HS art show)

Anyway... yesterday, our offer was ACCEPTED on a house!!! I am sooo excited!!! But, I dont want to get too excited because Im so nervous that something will fall through, so Im not telling too many people yet... I feel kind of like when people are pregnant and they dont want to tell until the first trimester is over, when things are more safe... im kinda wierd I guess!! Our inspection is Thursday!! Im cant wait... Im going to take a whole bunch of pics! and once we go to contract Ill post them all! (I dont want to jinx myself!!)

We also took our engagement pics today and I was so nerovous about it , but it went great... and FI who HATES pictures, behaved SO well!!!

Any our e-party is next week and things are starting to disappear off our registry!! I cant wait to see my whole family! (they are all coming up from Fla!)

Rocky Point!! FI had a meeting at school, so his mom and I went to check the house out and fell in love with it, so we put an offer in and found out it was accepted before FI even saw the house! So, now it is a big joke that me and his mom bought us a house while he was at work! Good thing he loved the house too!

Congrats!! That is great news...It is so exciting to be purchasing a home...I am with you though with the jinx...Once the contract is signed, it is a little safer

We went back to the house on Sunday and met the home owners and took a thousand pictures. I'm excited, but nervous too. I guess I'm a pessimist, always assuming something will go wrong.

That is soo awesome! How long after the inspection did you sign the contract?? I feel like I am walking on eggshells here... I cant sleep at night because all I am thinking about is the house! and I want to start going to garage sales to find furniture and thinking about how we are going to decorate, but I dont want to get myself too excited yet...

It all depends on whether or not there is any negiotiations that need to be done from the inspector's findings..If there is minimal, you could go to contract within a week of the inspection

Since you seem to have everything in order, can you please give me your secret. I have so much on my plate that I'm affraid I'll never get done. Best of luck with the house, I'm sure everything is going to go the way you want. Have fun at your E-party, we all know what it is like just to need a break.
