And I got picked for a darn jury. They say the trial should last til atleast Friday!! I am so mad, I don't get paid for being out of work!!

Good luck....I'm going to Jury Duty tommorow, Hopefully I wont get picked....I'm gonna go in there and start talking to myself and see if they think I'm crazy

I served on a jury last Oct. I was sooo mad when they chose me. The case lasted over a week (about). Anyway, as the case went on, it really wasn't that bad. Let us know how you make out.

A girl at my job is out till Dec 6th on Jury duty( at least dec 6th as of now) and shes been out since Oct. 4th!!!
They pay us at my job though...

I was on a case for a month this past spring.. I was on a federal case and got paid by my job and court... The case was so boring though I went home tired...

I just got back from Jury Duty, it looks like I might be getting picked but I have to go back tommorow first there was about 500 of us now there's only 30..it's supposedly going to be in the media...I kinda want to be on the case....I wanna tell you guys what it's about but we arent supposed to talk about it....I dunno will they arest me or something??? lol

My father was once a juror on a murder case...it took SEVEN WEEKS after five days of being sequestered (over a holiday weekend no less) to reach a verdict.
He actually loved it but it made my sister and I crazy to have him home every single afternoon (we were still in school).

OK I wasnt picked....which was probably a good thing because I really think the guy is guilty....and he was in the court room the whole time I felt like jumping on him & strangeling him...he was 'acused' of rape, aggrevated sexual assault, sodomy, and like 30 other charges agains a 9 & 11 yr old sisters...There was no way in hell I could be on that trial & judge him to what the court feels to be 'fair' oK had to vent....ty
