DH and I, along with a few others, went to dinner at Babbo's last night in the Village. what an awesome place - pricey, but so amazing.
Anyway, on our way out we see Christy Turlington with her hubby, (I think!) the hottest man on the planet, Edward Burns! I've loved this man since I first saw Bros McMullen
As if that wasn't enough, I look over at the others in their group and I see Helene Christensen with BONO! I couldn't believe it! I can't remember the last time I was so starstruck, and these things usually don't faze me too much. They were all being seated to dinner....at one point, Bono and Helene were out near us smoking a cigarette - Bono is really short! LOL
I had my digi cam but didn't take any pics - they were all enjoying themselves and I didn't want to be obnoxious - they are human after all

thats is really cool!! I saw Ed Burns once too when I was walking down an avenue in the city - he must live in NY. I did a double take - he looked like a regular guy.
Do you ever wonder if you are passing celebs every day (like if you work in the city) and don't even realize it? We must!! I am always seeing pics of them in Star and People...

Yeah, we realized that Helene and Christy must have been in town for fashion week - I think Ed and Christy do live in Manhattan anyway.....
After that sighting I made more of an effort to check everyone else out to see if there was anyone else i may have missed

That's what I thought! I assumed Bono and Helene were together but my DH said Bono was married. Maybe they're all just friends!
To be honest, I thought Christy was beautiful - very classic and natural look. She wasn't overly made up. Helene was more dressed up, I think in tall boots? can't remember - but I do remember thinking she was REALLY tall! I was about 6' with my heels and she easily had a few more inches on me. But I don't think she's that beautiful - her face is kinda scrunched together
My friend met Bono on the French Rivera - they were staying at the same hotel last June. She was so nervous/excited! It was around the time of someone's wedding (The Edge? or Larry Mullin) and my friend was checking out and Bono was too and she was 2 ft away from him so she had to say something. She said 'Excuse me but I would like to tell you that I saw you a few times in concert in 2001 and you and your band are amazing!' and he was soooo nice to her, shook her hand and said 'thanks - it's always nice to hear that!'
She keeps bringing it up to me because I LOVE BONO.
But I used to work with the guy that played Paul on the Wonder Years. Started my job the same day as him too. I didn't even know it was him until a month later, someone told me! (we worked in different departments but knew each other from the first day in HR office going over benefits). He's so nice, georgeous blue eyes and really just such a down to earth guy. He was a paralegal. He left after a few years to go to law school. I imagine he's graduated but I have no idea where he's working now.
Josh Saviano, that was his name. Too me a moment to remember.

Christy is pregnant too I hear. I'm happy she and Ed Burns ended up together - they seem really happy now that they are.

Maribelle - that's right! Totally forgot about that. If I had remembered it would have been a good reason to go up and congratulate them
One of the reasons I've always loved Ed Burns is because he seems so down to earth - they seem like a great couple, I just hope they last

Believe me, I would have loved to have taken a pic of my all-time hottie, but taking it and running would have been rude (and gotten it in trouble with their security man!) and I didn't have the nerve to go up to all 10 of them and ask
