Guest Bags for Hotel

Are you leaving bags at the hotel for your guests when they check in?

We would like to but....

What did you put (or are planning to put) in the bag?

We were thinking a bottle of LI wine and some LI potato chips (try to give all the OOT'ers a LI theme) but we're not sure if this is cheesy...

Need some other ideas....

or if you did wine, where did you get it from?

Thanks guys!

We're doing this...

We have:

small bags of candy
water bottles
chips
popcorn
small bottles of wine
tissues

and some other stuff..fmil is taking care of them, so i keep forgetting what all she bought

Where did you get the small wine bottles?

A 2008 bride (lesliemike) did a great Long Island theme for her hotel bags...it was very cute! She did North Fork chips, Blue Point beer, Entenmann's cookies...

If you search her you can see it in her review.

I would say check out the wholesale alcohol place by costco in westbury. I know they sell the smaller bottles.

I am not putting wine in mine but am putting:

water
chips
monogramed note pads
a thank you note
tissue packs
wedding timeline
chocolates (our theme)

Not sure yet what else.

I made 20 bags, and they came out to *maybe* $5 each. I bought the bags online, and everything else at Costco. Each bag has:

2 bottles of water
2 trail mix bars
4 fruit snack packs
2 packs of gum
1 individual Entenmann's coffee cake
1 bag North Fork potato chips
1 bag Cracker Jacks
Lifesaver Wintergreen mints
Assorted miniature chocolates
