Guest book

So I saw someone post on one of the other boards about this and i loved the idea.... Instead of having s guest book we are going to gave a mets jersey with Nader and tbe number 12 on it. We are going to have it framed and matted with a birder.. Then we are going to have people dignity the border.l this way we can hang it at our house after. What do uou girls think?

I love it! I'm a fan of having something that can actually be displayed!

Make sure you have it displayed in a prominent place and have your DOC remind people at the tables when they're milling around. So many girls say the normal guestbooks go unused and I want my frame to be full too!

That is a good idea to have my DOC remind people to sign it. I definitely want it all full. I guess worse Cade scenario I can have people sign it after too if they forget at the wedding.

FH's friend had a frame for their wedding and its in their hallway, and he LOVES finding his name everytime he's over there, so I think the idea is really cute and fun.

I think this is a really cute idea. I love that you will be able to hang it up in your house and keep it forever.

Love the idea!!!!!! And people will be more apt to sign the jersey than a book bc its fun :)

great idea!! i have to think of something like that....i dont want to get a guest book and no one signs it....plus some people dont even know what to write...once i had people just write their name and address for my friends wedding LOL

i once saw an idea where people sign 'rocks' and then the bride and groom take all of the signed rocks 'well wishes' and put it in a vase with flowers in their house.....i like the idea..but not sure if the pen/marker will last years in water you know?

They can write messages on the white matting for the frame. I am going to bring the jersey to Michaels (when they have their framing sale) and have it matted. The day off we will keep the glass off so that people can sign the matting.
