i didn't have one but i've seen the following:
-- have guests sign a picture of you, a plate or a quilt -- an engravable frame (i bought this for a friend once .... it's not cheap but it was really pretty): click me -- have guests sign a guitar -- have a fingerprint tree: click me -- have a wish tree: click me

Re: Guest Book
I was thinking about an engravable platter that we can use for family parties and things.. I feel like the book may just sit there.

Re: Guest Book
My SIL/MOH made me a wedding quilt for my guests to sign click here
Originally I was going to design something but didn't want the hassle of the design, printing and putting together process. I'm already doing a lot of DIY projects. Hope that helps!

I am using a recycled wood cover guest book with hand-carved etchings and our names/date inscribed on the cover.

Re: Guest Book
I know it sounds a little over the top but I heard of it once and it stuck with me...unfinished wood Adirondack chairs that are attached then everyone signs it with a paint pen and after the big day you schlack it and have a beautiful momento and also a great piece of yard furniture to hang out on and relax.

Re: Guest Book
were not doing a guest book.. I'm doing one of those 'event mat's' it's that white board thats in some picture frames & I'll have an engagement picture displayed in the middle for people to sign around it. I bought it at Walmart for $2.50 & will later buy a nice frame for!!
