Guest Book ideas
All along, I had in my head to not do the traditional guest book...I had the idea of using matted frames, but since we're going to have 150+ people at the reception, we would need around 3 frames, and they'll get old sooner than I think and then where would they go in the house??
Someone just posted about guestbookstore.com, where guests would fill out a cute little sheet and then they'd all get collaborated into an album. But as my mom just pointed out, how many people would actually take the time and fill it out? I don't want to only have half the guests do it...
So what's easy and semi-nontraditional that you are doing for the guest book? Any help is appreciated!

where do you get the polaroid camera from? I really don't want to have to buy a lot more than already planned - how much do they run?

i know the knot has it and so do many other sites, just google it and see who has the best price. Maybe check when the knot has a sale.
If you dont want to have a guestbook remember you dont have to have one so dont feel like you need one. If you ask most girls on here you'll see most didnt have one or wont have one. I didnt have one and dont remember the last time i went to a wedding and saw one, and if it was there i didnt see it. If you want to save money then just leave out the guestbook all together

Re: Guest Book ideas
Polaroid doesn't make the camera anymore BUT they make a new device called a Polaroid PoGo. It's about the size of a deck of cards and any camera or camera phone with pictabridge works with it. Just plug it in and in 60 seconds it prints out the pictures. This is my new gotta have it electronic. LOL. I saw it on the Costco website for 99$ and included the special paper and a carying case. Oh and the paper it prints out on has a peel off sticky back which would be perfect for scrapbooking/guestbooking.

Re: Guest Book ideas
I'm making mine on shutterfly. Just a regular album with one or two pictures of us on the pages. It's only about $30-$40 depending on how many pages, which cover and style you use. And even if people end up not signing it (which happens a lot) it will be like a photo album. I saw that guestbook.com and loved it too but it's a lot to spend if people dont end up using it. It's a great idea fr a shower guest book though!

Re: Guest Book ideas
We were thinking of doing a photo montage during the reception but then realized the lay out of our reception room didn't really work. And were looking to cut cost with the DJ so we nixed that idea. I think instead we'll take the few baby pics and ones of first dating and then some of our EPICS and make a guest book through shutterfly.Welcome New Vendors
